Lessons for Little Ones: Easter Story 1 (a ‘rerun’) |

I recorded some Easter stories for children the year of Covid. (Just audio stories) I will bring them up to a new post so that you and your children can listen to them again. They present the Easter stories with simple language so that children can listen and understand. I also included questions the children can answer after the story is finished. A very good teaching technique is to go through the questions before you listen to the story. Then when the children hear the answer they remember it more easily. Then go through the questions after the story and see what they remember… (The recording is below the questions.)
1. Who went to the tomb early in the morning?
2. What did she do when she saw the stone was rolled away?
3. Who ran to the tomb when they heard what Mary said?
4.What did they see when they got there?
5. Which one of the apostles ‘saw and believed?
6. Who was the only one who stayed at the tomb after the others left?
7. What was she doing?
8. What did the angels ask her?
9. Who did Mary think that Jesus was?
10. What did Jesus say when suddenly she recognized Him?
11. What did Jesus send Mary to do?
If you can answer those questions, you listened to the story very well! If you don’t know the answer, then you can listen again, or look up the story in the Bible in the Gospel of John, chapter 20.
